Interview
went under 4 round including 2 technical, 1 managerial and 1 HR. The interview lasted for around 4.5 hrs and was done in 2 days. Technical round was conducted by a PL and the level was good. It lasted for 1.5 hrs. 2nd round was with the project manager. It was a mixed one with more focus on managerial skills required for a support project. and 3rd round was with DM and the questions were from managerial skills & personal life & career. 2nd day, HR round was conducted and was more of a formal HR interview asking about personal achievements, aspiration , expected CTC etc.

questions were entirely real time scenarios occuring in a Supports project like Abend handling, SLA miss, performance enhancement, automation etc... with a good level of technical questions on JCL, COBOL, SQL & VSAM.

Not so great, it took my entire day, there was a huge gap between two rounds.
The guys who were taking interview were not sure what they are looking for, they showed no real confidence in candidate's profile.

Write & explain all the joins with example.
Basic UNIX commands and its syntax like find, grep, etc.

Second Round:
Generic questions about project and understanding of the role.

Any 15 UNIX commands.
UNIX networking commands and their usage like netstat, ping, host, nslookup.

mostly domain question. They wanted domain expert rather than business analyst. Asked various capital market related questions. Not interested in Business analyst as a skill.
