I interviewed at BNSF Railway (El Paso, TX)
Interview
Two rounds one with HR and then a second with the department you'll be in. Both were over zoom due to the fact that their headquarters are in FT Worth Texas.
The interview process consists of two main stages: a HireVue interview and a final round interview. The HireVue interview typically includes about three questions designed to assess your background, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills through recorded responses. If you pass this stage, you’ll be invited to a final round interview, which is more in-depth and may involve multiple interviewers, including hiring managers and senior team members. The final round usually includes technical and behavioral questions, as well as potential case studies or situational problems to evaluate your expertise, communication skills, and how you handle real-world challenges. This stage may last from 30 minutes to a few hours and provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate both your technical qualifications and cultural fit within the company. After the final round, the hiring team will review your performance and communicate a decision, typically within a week or two.
