The role was advertised as someone using Learning Technologies but ended up being almost solely an A.I Tech role. Was given 2 days to create a "microteach" on Microsoft Co-Pilot. This isn't enough time.
Interviewer interrupted my answers 3 or 4 times and was clearly not listening/understanding how I was linking my experiences to the job spec. I was following the STAR rule for answers and giving relevant detail but apparently the quicker the better for this interviewer!
There was a massive emphasis on a 60 minute hard stop for the interview, despite never being mentioned before or at the start, it's not an exam, you're finding your next colleague their answers should be more important than giving them within a certain time frame.
A very good plus was interview questions being given before hand. Every interview should be like this.
It's now been 2 weeks since interviewing and I've heard nothing back, not even a 2 minute/automated email saying thanks but we've hired elsewhere- what a rotten way to treat people.
