I was hired directly from the internship, so it is a slightly different process. Most questions were your typical behavioral. There is a writing test that asks you to create a response to a client email. They will look at your grammar, prose and judgement. Did you back yourself into a corner with your answer? Did you say something that you can't backup? Are you making yourself or the company look bad? There is also a reconciliation test...very basic comparison of two accounts...find the difference and circle it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bailard (Foster City, CA)
Interview
Basic questions about active management concepts (define active vs passive management of stocks), basic economic concepts (free market vs centralized market). There were a couple more advanced questions, but as long as you are honest and intelligent you should do fine (we later hired someone who got a more advanced question wrong but they didn't try to BS the interviewer).
