I causally applied for a position via Linkedin. I didn’t hear anything for a couple of weeks but then received a phone call from one of the internal company recruiters. I had a brief phone interview with the recruiter, then separate face-to-face interviews with the recruiter, hiring manager, and department director. Again, I didn’t hear anything for a couple of weeks and received a call from the recruiter again asking if I was still interested. I was, and was called in for another face-to-face interview with the hiring manager and then a separate group interview with 3 team members. I received an offer about a week later to which I submitted a counter-offer, and they came back with a final offer a few days later.
The recruiter was a really cheerful guy who was more than happy to answer any questions I asked with honest answers. The director was incredibly down to earth and very open to discussing things like why he believed in the company and what he was looking for in the perfect candidate (which in this case was more of a personality fit with the current team versus prior job experience).
I got the general feeling that if you're lucky enough to get into the company, it's a great place to work. Everyone I talked to mentioned the benefits (pay, vacation time, work-life balance) as one of the main reasons they enjoyed working there.
