A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and sent me 3 messages seeing if I had interest for a role at BairesDav. I told them I was not looking but was willing to hear about the role because it sounded interesting. I was told the first initial conversation would just be a 15 minute talk over the role and background of the company. After getting on the recruiters zoom, I was recorded and asked to take a test at the end. I didn't agree to neither before getting on the call. The test has almost nothing to do with the day to day job and I felt very frustrated because I didn't agree to be interviewed so formally. I do not like their process here. I was very uncomfortable and felt blind sided. Even if they reach back out to me I will not be moving forward with such a recruitment process as theirs.
Very Thorough, Leonardo had a lot of great questions and was very energetic and got to know me pretty well. Did a great job describing the interview process and BairesDev mission and roles available!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BairesDev (Gaithersburg, MD) in Jun 2026
Interview
Standard template of questions about career journey. The recruiter had a pleasant demeanor and it was a cordial interaction, but the questions were high level and not too personal. I would imagine the next round would start to dig a little deeper.
