I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Baker McKenzie (Bangkok) in Apr 2018
Interview
3 days after handing in the CV, the HR called me to schedule the interview. The interview process is as simple as the other company, they gave you the writing test as to write down the essay of why you wanted to work in a global firm and then the oral interview about your personal and the knowledge of your field. The committee is very friendly.
Took the essay and then took the 20-minute interview. There were around 10 interviewers. The mood was not quite pressuring. All the interviewers were energetic. The interview was mainly in Thai. Plus, the interviewers were straightforward in their sayings.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you interested in interning in Dispute Resolution?
Video interview was very fast paced, highly recommend keeping answers concise and answering the question in the first sentence. There is a timer that counts down as soon as you start answering which can add pressure.
It was relatively straightforward and easy interview, asked about my electives, my interests, future career prospects, and which team i would like to join. Also asked about why i want to study law, and other general questions. Friendly and kind staff
