I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of England (London, England) in Jan 2016
Interview
Application questionnaire followed by a situational judgement test, pretty straight forward. Then three tests, numerical, logical and verbal, these can be very tricky but I realized they do not test us on whether the answer is right or wrong but on how you react on a limit of time as the time limit is very strict. The interview consisted of five questions, all of which I found here and prepared for it so it was very smooth, I recommend practicing them on a webcam beforehand so that you can get used to the feeling of seeing yourself answering the questions. 30 or 60 seconds to prepare before the recording starts, most questions are a minute long, some are 2 minutes, mostly the ones about events happening in the UK. Haven't heard from them still.

Typical application form, standard online math tests and online video interview. After that, there was an option to chat with the staff what was actually very nice. They organised couple of sessions for Q&As with other applicants.
