I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Somerset, NJ) in Aug 2012
Interview
The hiring and interview process is one that still puzzles me, i received a call saying that my resume was viewed on monster and they would like toe make a presentation, upon reaching the building for interview i noticed a couple things (1) the office was a rented suite , nothing ig wrong with that however a company that claims to have 13B in assets surely can afford a small building of their own, and (2) the office manager was poorly dressed, he had the liken of a car sales man, and finally it was more of a pitch than a selection process.

At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
