I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Mar 2017
Interview
Starts with personality assessment based on responses to a very basic questionnaire. Unfortunately the interview relies more on past stories of success of current/former agents and less on the job expectations and realities. The whole process is based in trigger motivational areas specially prying on desperate individuals who have been out of work for quite some time or just getting into the workforce. Unfortunately the selection and hiring process relies more into getting quantity and not quality of prospects.
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
