Was contacted by a recruiter, who dogged me for the longest time before I finally agreed to go to an interview. I've interviewed at a lot of places like this before; insurance, finances, anything like that, so I sort of knew what I was getting into. I was brought in by this woman, who wasn't even from my half of the country, to a 'new branch' near my home. When I got there, I immediately knew it was a mistake. The 'manager' didn't know who I was, or why I was there, and seemed put off by many of my questions. After he handed me a book and told me to go into the back and wait. There were at least ten other people there, with more on the way. I backed out, realizing it was a CutCo or Avon-style environment, meaning I wasn't there for any kind of 'job'. Very unprofessional, would not recommend to anybody. 100% commission, no stability, poor environment.
