I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Indianapolis, IN) in Sept 2022
Interview
They invite you for an “interview”. The only question they ask you is your name, because this is a group meeting that is really a disingenuous sales pitch for the position. It gives strong MLM vibes.
They try very, VERY hard not to provide this information but this is actually a 1099 position. Also, there is no base salary. They don’t even provide a laptop or any other equipment. Despite this, they actually require you to come into their office several days a week! It’s laughable.
At the end of this “interview” they have you fill out a paper that asks you for names of people who they can try to recruit. They ask if you’re interested in learning more about the position and they say they’ll conduct a second interview with every person who says yes. I said no and they’re still trying to “follow up” more than two months later.
The interview was through zoom not very difficult. I applied online and I heard back in a few days. Have not heard much but explained the job role in detail
I interviewed at Bankers Life (West Palm Beach, FL)
Interview
Very sketchy Had me on a group call for the interview. I didn’t know much better because I just graduated. Looking for people who are fresh into job search and can be taken advantage of
Beggining of hiring process is online through zoom in an informal group session, followed by in person at local office. The group session is mostly just information about the company and the position itself. Very straight forward.

Question 1
They will ask if youre comfortable with a commission only based position as that is how all of their entry level positions are.
