I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Columbus, OH) in Aug 2012
Interview
Go to a Briefing at which point the Manager outlines the Bankers process and the potential to generate income, overview of career paths. Subsequently, a request for further information is generated and then a one on one interview. If the Manager thinks you are a good fit they will get you set up to take the training for the Exam and Licensing.
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
