I spent two hours with a hiring manager in her private office discussing the job and how the unit functions. She asked me several behavioral questions that stimulated me to think of how I would act as a manager based on how I was treated by managers in the past. I was prompted to think of past experiences and bring it to the table and describe exactly how I would react in a similar situation and how I would make decisions and deal with staff as a clinical manager for their unit on night shifts.
