Interview
I was called in about three weeks after applying online and interviewed with a manager, about a day later i got the offer. The manager wanted to know if i was willing to be trained in multiple areas of the store and ask about how many hours i would want to work.
Pretty simple, they asked a lot of retail questions and how I would choose to create a personalized table to present new books. The hardest part is getting the interview in the first place

Q: How would you deal with a customer coming up to you if you were in the middle of doing something else?
Interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked me about my past experience and how I could apply that as a bookseller. They also took me through the store and had me analyze the displays and shelves, telling them what themes I saw. That was probably the hardest part.
They ask you to describe a scenario regarding picking out a book for a customer. And to specify the contents of the book and genre. It was a pretty laid back interview.
