I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bayer
Interview
I had a phone interview with HR and then they set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that I was contacted for an in person interview. The in person interview was with the hiring manager, HR and upper management all in one room. It was around lunch time so we talked and had lunch. It was really relaxed.
In person with immediate manager and remote hr professional. First was a phone interview with hr flooded by the in person one. Interview lasted about an hour total including site tour.
The interview went well. They seemed very engaged when I interviewed, however it was difficult to understand some of their answers to the questions I was asking. Some answers felt intentionally vague, but the people I interviewed with with very kind.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bayer (Lethbridge, AB) in Oct 2024
Interview
1 hr 10 min long. Since Bayer is a major player in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology, it might help to focus on their values of innovation, sustainability, and commitment to health and nutrition. With your background in agriculture and plant breeding, you could emphasize your technical skills, hands-on experience in crop production, and how you align with Bayer's mission.
