My interview consisted of 3 rounds, two phone and one in person. I had found Be Power Tech via LinkedIn.
The first round was with the HR Manager of the company, who was very kind and helped me understand more about the company and product. She asked some questions regarding my background and why I think Be Power Tech is a good fit for me and vice versa. This interview was geared more towards a broader understanding of both parties and making sure there was a 'cultural' fit. Scheduled a next call with the business team's management.
The second round was much more intensive as far as technical and industry experience goes. The questions were focused on startups, energy, and business acumen. I was interviewed by two individuals and both asked questions regarding my background and my 'technical' fit into the role. It was definitely a tougher interview. At the end of the interview I was asked to prepare a report for an onsite interview.
The third round was in person. Be Power Tech flew me down from Virginia and paid for any hospitality expenses incurred. On my interview day, I spoke again with the HR manager and the business team separately. I was informed of some procedural aspects and was given an overview of what company policy and growth will look like from the HR manager. I presented an executive summary (the report) to the business team and we discussed business objectives, strategic growth, and other industry topics during my interview. Immediately after this interview I spoke again with the HR manager and was given a verbal offer. On the next day I was mailed an offer letter.
