I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Beelman Truck (Saint Louis, MO) in Aug 2022
Interview
It was unprofessional and they were worried about online opinions. That was actually the first thing the owner said to me. It sent off red flags. They were adamant about phone usage, short lunches, little time off. Nothing about the interview made me want to jump in.

Question 1
Was I losing a lot of vacation time if I took their job offer?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Beelman Truck (East Saint Louis, IL) in Sept 2020
Interview
Applied online and received a call within a few days. Set up an interview at their head office. Sat in with HR, a senior Fleet Manager, the owner and his son. The interview was fairly straight forward and they seemed overly interested in my current companies operations & daily tactics. I received an offer later that afternoon which was at my asking salary, but the interview itself had me weary on the overall culture of the company. I said I needed 24hrs to review my offer and I would get back with them. HR reached out after a couple of hours and said that the owner had rescinded my job offer (because of me needing 24hrs to consider my offer). In hind-site it was an absolute blessing in disguise. I have heard nothing but terrible reviews since then.

Question 1
What is your current role? How does your company dispatch and plan trucks? What kind of miles/revenue per day does your current fleet have? How is THAT satisfactory to your corporate office?
