I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BeenVerified.com (New York, NY) in Jul 2015
Interview
The devilishly handsome Head of Talent (Elliott) emailed me about an opening for a junior Ruby engineer and we had a brief phone call. A friend was already working at BV and loving it, but Elliott sold me hard on the awesomeness of BV anyway. Then I had a phone interview with the senior software engineer and submitted a couple of coding challenges. My in person interview included meeting with engineers and the CTO, CEO, COO, CFO and Senior Project Manager. The technical part of the interview was the best experience I've had so far with technical interviews. Jay and Patrick obviously know their stuff, but they were approachable and made me feel comfortable demonstrating what I could (and couldn't do) as a junior engineer. I was pretty much sold on joining BV after meeting with them. The IPA Elliott poured me didn't hurt either.

Question 1
Walk us through your code challenges. What kinds of projects do you work on in your current job? Can you show us other projects that you've worked on?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at BeenVerified.com (New York, NY) in Jan 2015
Interview
I was contacted by an external recruiter who gave me an overview of the position. After a phone call, he set up a phone interview with a senior developer. After that, I was given a code challenge to complete within 48 hours, followed by an on-site interview with people from project management, engineering and HR. Finally, I was brought back for a final on-site interview with the executive team.
The code challenge was fun and interesting, definitely a nice break from other ones from other companies I've done in the past.
