I drove six hours for this interview, hoping to relocate to the Durham market. While driving, Donna called and asked to move the interview from 11 am to 1 pm. Just before 1 pm, she called again to move the interview to 2 pm. I was already in the store. At 2 pm, she had the LP Manager give me the store tour. At 3 pm, we finally met and sat down for the interview. It was painfully obvious that Donna had never glanced at my resume until then. She asked questions that she already had the answers to. And she insinuated from the very beginning that I wasn’t a good fit for the role, based on…what? My punctuality and her lack of? I’d survived two screening rounds successfully to get to this interview. She dismissed me quickly. I later called the Belk recruiter to complain about the experience. What a waste of time.

Interview
I was interviewed three times in a four-day period. One in person, one on a Microsoft Teams call, and one phone call. I had to call the manager to find out the results instead of receiving word when I was told the decision would be made.

Interview
Claimed to be 45 minutes of behavioral interview but ended up being half behavioral and half technical. Prepare for the technical side, as it is surely what I failed on. Asks about each and every project/job on your resume individually.
