I interviewed at Benchmark Analytics (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Fairly straight forward - screened by HR, then a conversation with the hiring manager, after a few days you get the details for a SQL assessment and then go over the assessment in a panel interview. After a week, I received a response that it was down to me and another candidate and they went with the other candidate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They provided a SQL script that you had to run on your PC with mock data to analyze. Analyzing the data per their request was straight forward, getting the SQL to play nice with your local laptop (if it's old/less than average) can take some effort.
I applied online. I interviewed at Benchmark Analytics in Mar 2025
Interview
I applied online. The recruiter reached out via email to schedule a Teams call and asked for my availability. I replied with my availability, waited a few days, and got no response. I followed up, waited a few days, and again got no response. I withdrew my application because this recruiter ghosted me and reflected poorly on this company.

Question 1
"what is your availability in the next 4 or 5 days to chat?"
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Benchmark Analytics (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process was difficult, but amazingly efficient and effective. I met "one on one" with different employees of the company. Each interview was more like a conversation, which allowed me the opportunity to show how I could add value to the company and assist in providing solutions to their problems. Each interviewer was professional, but personable. I could tell from the interviews that the company's approach to accomplishing their mission was extremely collaborative and progress.

Question 1
I was asked how I would enhance the company's efforts at reaching key decision makers with historically difficult to penetrate accounts.
