Pretty long selection process, but definitely worth it.
- Submitted my CV and cover letter through the website
- Took a standardized test in an external platform (problem-solving, IQ, text comprehension, graphs and stuff like that). I had the chance to practice with some mock tests on the platform
- About 7-8 short tests. No previous knowledge required, all were highly original and some of them quite fun as well. They test problem-solving and logical thinking ability only, no need to prepare for them
- They invited me to an interview with HR. Took another test before the interview. We only talked about my experience, passions, expectations etc. Very chill vibe and plenty of time to ask questions
- They invited me for a second interview, again took another test (this time slightly longer/tougher) before the interview. I talked with two senior PMs, again most of the time they were just questions about myself and the company. At the end I answered to a couple of problem-solving questions explaining my reasoning, again pretty original stuff you could probably not prepare for
- They sent me a new challenge to submit in about a week. This one was way tougher and more time-consuming than the previous tests.
- They invited me to a third interview with a more senior PM (one of the founders). This time besides the usual questions there were also some more technical/knowledge-based questions related to the job position. I didn't know how to answer all of them. Again I had time to ask questions throughout the whole interview
- Quick background check (I provided contacts of friends/previous employers)
- Got the offer.
The process is long, but I was in contact the whole time with a recruiter and felt supported/at ease during the whole application. I also appreciated how the most time-consuming activities are concentrated towards the end of the process.
I would also add, it's OK not to know some stuff. 80%+ of the process they're just trying to know you and assess how you think/behave and if you're a good fit for the company, previous experience and knowledge is not the primary focus during the interviews.
Finally, I want to underline that the more a company focus on the recruiting process, the more awesome your colleagues will be. I know it's super time-consuming (especially when applying for several companies simultaneously), but IMO it's worth the hassle
