Interview
Video chat with HR manager for around 30 minutes, mostly behavioral questions. Looking for a good cultural fit and values around corporate giving. They have recently raised their pay scales after an internal review. Still waiting to hear back.
I got a call from the hiring manager that asked very general and outdated questions (in my opinion). The first interview lasted for about 30 min. The interviewer explained to me that I will be contacted soon regarding the next steps. One month has passed and never heard back from them. I contacted the interviewer a few times but no response either.
I conduct interviews myself in the course of my work but I don't ghost people and I don't think anyone should. It's unprofessional and leaves them with a bad impression of a company.
