      Marketing Interview

      17 Feb 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Bennie in Feb 2026

      Interview

I interviewed for a marketing role and left feeling that the conversation focused heavily on why I left previous positions rather than on my qualifications, skills, or how I could contribute in this role. There was very limited discussion around my marketing operations experience, campaign execution, or platform expertise, which I was hoping to highlight. I was also asked why I have been out of work for an extended period. I was part of a company-wide layoff last year due to a restructure, which impacted many employees. Given the number of layoffs across industries over the past couple of years, the current job market has been very challenging for many qualified professionals. I feel like a recruiter should know this.
