BetaNXT interview questions

I was contacted by their HR and was moved forward to the hiring manager. My background is in healthcare IT so when I met with this person, they seemed tuned out. Betanxt is a wealth management company and I have experience in RCM and accounting/payroll software, but I think they wanted someone with more finance experience. The woman I interviewed with just said “….Okay great” to every response. It was pretty easy to tell she was unable to connect the dots between what I did and how it translated into the opportunity.

First, they asked me to introduce myself, including my background and what motivated me to pursue product management. Then, we went over my work experience and previous projects in detail—what I built, my role, the outcomes, and challenges I faced. After that, they asked more in-depth questions about product strategy, such as how I prioritize features, approach user research, and make data-driven decisions. I also had a chance to talk about my skills in cross-functional collaboration, communication, and using design or analytics tools
