"Disorganized Interview Process and Lack of Transparency"
I initially had an interview with the CTO, which went well. However, they disappeared and only got back to me a month and a half later to continue the process with a take-home assignment. I explained that I was in an advanced stage with another company and asked if they could conduct a technical interview instead. They agreed, but a few days later, they responded that they couldn't assess my technical level and requested I complete the take-home assignment anyway. This response was disappointing and showed a lack of proper process management.
Despite my reservations, I decided to invest my time and submit the assignment. I passed the technical stage and was invited to a two-hour in-office interview. I was told it would be an opportunity to meet HR and key development personnel for an introductory session. Instead, I was given a live coding test, which had not been communicated beforehand. I ended the interview immediately due to this disrespect and waste of my time.
Overall, the experience highlighted a company that does not manage its processes properly and lacks transparency and respect for candidates.
