I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at BetterUp (New York, NY) in Dec 2018
Interview
From my research, I was very impressed by BetterUp and gladly applied to be one their executive coaches. I was excited about possibly working for them.
However, I've been discouraged by what I experienced to be a somewhat disjointed and prolonged recruiting process. I'm not sure whether BetterUp is growing too fast or whether there is just temporary issues with the recruiting team.
I applied online via LinkedIn the end of September, but didn't hear from them until November. They asked me to complete an online video interview, which I did. Mid-December BetterUp invited me to the next interviewing step - setting up an account with them and doing a mock coaching session. They never sent me the email with the link. In early January, I emailed them. Although they replied immediately, the link they sent didn't work. I informed them of the broken link and asked for a new one. It's now end January and I haven't heard from them yet.
I'm sure BetterUp is a great company, but other opportunities have cropped up for me over the 4 months I've been waiting in their candidate pipeline.
(Note: I said below that I did not get an offer because GlassDoor's system required it. Actually, my online application and online interview were successful and moved me to the final step of the mock coaching session. If they do eventually send the link, I might still receive an offer and I would probably accept it.)
long process that requires a great deal of candidate, process moved with some consistency. entire process took several weeks and provided some preparation for work required of contract work done by coaches.
