I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Big Tex Trailers (Mount Pleasant, TX) in May 2018
Interview
Process very simple. Paper application, very basic questions and paperwork if hired. Understand what your signing and know that there isn't worker's compensation. Don't get injured. Weld test. If your not bad they will train if you need brushing up on welds.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Big Tex Trailers (Wills Point, TX) in Mar 2019
Interview
I found a flyer at a gas station. The lady at the front desk is incredibly rude. She called someone to test me. The 2nd lady took almost an hour to come get me. After that, I has to sit back down and wait another hour to talk to her boss. That guy didn't have a clue. He just talked about himself. After the interview, he told I had 30 minutes to take a drug test. I started the next week. The pay sucks.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Big Tex Trailers (Caldwell, ID) in May 2016
Interview
I received a basic interview by the Human Resource office. It was mainly a history lesson of how the company started up. We went over the do's and don'ts of the workplace. I didn't feel that I was talking welding at all with this person. I personally felt as if we needed to just get to the weld test area.
