I applied online. I interviewed at Binance in May 2026
Interview
I went through the full interview cycle for the Technical Support Engineer (Blockchain & Backend) role, which was explicitly listed as a full-time position. The technical stages went well, but the final HR coordination was completely broken.
A week after my final round, an HR Specialist sent me a congratulatory email explicitly stating I had passed and that the team wanted to extend an offer. Shockingly, the template they used asked for my "internship pay" and commitment timelines, and it named an entirely different company.
I replied immediately to clarify why a full-time role was suddenly being treated as an internship and to point out the errors. I followed up three times over the next month just to understand what was going on. I am completely fine with standard "cold treatment" or getting rejected if business needs change, but to be explicitly told you passed and are getting an offer, only to be completely ghosted for a month and then hit with a generic, automated rejection email is unprofessional. Total lack of internal alignment and communication oversight.
Advice to Management:
Review your HR and Talent Acquisition workflows. If a candidate is formally told they passed and an offer is coming, a massive template error should be addressed immediately by a human, not ignored for a month and swept under the rug with an automated rejection system. It heavily damages your employer brand.
