I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BioScreen Testing Services (Torrance, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
First, I had a brief, but good conversation with the HR manager. Then, I met two chemistry department managers who were extremely relaxed and made me feel very positive throughout the entire interview. I was then called back by the HR manager for a lab demo. I toured their three facilities and everyone seemed very pleasant. Finally, one of the managers I interviewed with put me to practice some basic lab skills, which included pipetting, and weighting flasks. Very simple stuff. However, I was annoyed that I was not given a calculator, but after asking for one that was resolved. I can only complain about the first problem. I would recommend knowing the Concentration1 x volume1 = Concentration2 X Volume2 equation. I knew it myself during the time I did the lab demo, I just didn't apply it because I didn't know how to convert grams of water into milliliters, and it turns out that it's was very simple (1 gram = 1 milliliter). I felt so dumb. I could have found the diluted concentration for all six samples. I think this might have jeopardized my opportunity to work for them. Last thing he said: " Thanks for coming, I will evaluate your results with our other candidates, and will pick the candidate with the best results." `I'll just wait and see for now...they might just call me back.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BioScreen Testing Services (Torrance, CA)
Interview
Interviewed with a manager in the chemistry department, who was very nice and talkative. I only spoke 25% of the time during the interview. Was invited back for lab demo, that tested easy lab techniques. I got an offer that was lower than what I expected which led me to ultimately decline the offer. When I was touring the lab, it was interesting how all the employees did not look very happy and the reviews here explained it well.
