Interview
First, there’s an application review. Employers (often retail pharmacies or clinics) look for basic qualifications like customer service experience, attention to detail, and sometimes familiarity with medications or pharmacy systems.
Next is a short screening call. This is usually with a recruiter or store manager. They’ll confirm your availability, ask why you want to work in a pharmacy, and check that you understand the role involves both customer interaction and administrative tasks.

“How would you handle a difficult or upset customer?”
They ask this because the role is heavily customer-facing, and pharmacies can be stressful environments (long waits, prescription issues, insurance problems, etc.). They want to see if you can stay calm, professional, and helpful under pressure.

Interview
The interview consists of a video interview, computer test, and virtual/in person interview. The video inretview was daunting at first but went smoothly. The interview was conducted by the manager and was a comfortable conversation.
