I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (Princeton, NJ) in Apr 2021
Interview
I applied to BlackRock online in Spring 2021 for a full-time Analyst position. The first step of my process was a Hacker rank assessment since I was going for a technical role. There was a multiple choice on Python, two SQL coding questions, a Pandas/Jupyter Notebook exercise, and finally a Python problem solving challenge.
After the assessment, I was contacted within days for a Super Day with the hiring manager, a behavioral interview with an Associate, and a technical interview.
Once Super Day was done, I was scheduled a week later for a final round interview with the COO of the group. I brushed up on knowledge of the company plus recent news stories, but it was pretty conversational. Just make sure you have good questions to ask.
Post final interview, I was made a verbal offer, and then after a reference check, was made a written final offer a week later.
One online interview and three rounds of hirevue until an assessment centre in the offices and coding exam if applying to engineer roles in London. The interview was quite easy and straightforward; really happy with the results
