      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Sept 2022

      Interview

Applied for a role at Bloomberg NEF. Asked to interview a couple of weeks after applying. Second interview arranged the day after the first. All went smoothly, standard interview questions. Everyone was friendly and was impressed by the company. Dissapointed that I was told after my final interview that I would hear back within a few days. Emailed a couple of weeks after my interview enquiring about the situation and recieved no reply. Eventually they sent me a generic/automated rejection email around a month after my final interview. Didn't recieve any feedback which was fustrating when you've taken time to apply and interview. Left a slightly bitter taste but not sure if it would put me off applying in the future because I did like the company.

      Question 1

Estimate the size of the household LED bulb market in the USA. Some data/graphs shown during the interview and asked to draw conclusions from them. Most of the other questions were experience/personal interview questions.

      Interview

An online video interview first, and then a technical case study after the video interview, which tested Excel skills. First video interview were all behavioral questions and was fairly easy. Excel was not too hard and you were required to come up with a written report.

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Bloomberg

      Interview

Due to COVID-19 the whole procedure was online. In the beginning I received a set of data that I had to create charts, analyze them and find something interesting to present. After this, there was an interview with an hr person through the phone (very quick) and I was invited to the office for a last round of interviews with the HR and a technical assessment interview. Due to COVID-19 I conducted this interview online and due to the situation, all the hiring processes were cancelled.

      Question 1

Imagine you have an analog watch that shows that it is 12:00 o'clock. After 15 minutes, what is the distance (into degrees) that the minutes and the hour pointers have.
