I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
They changed the application process and made it worse. Instead of the 30 minute screen call, you have to do a pre-recorded interview, it’s 6 questions, all really hard random questions, not typical interview questions. You have unlimited tries but if you take too long the session times out and you have to re do it all over. I had to do it 3 times. Then got a email to schedule 30 minute call in foreign language. I was expecting it to be in English with role plays in the foreign language but the whole call is in foreign language and they ask you to talk to them in detail about recent financial news. Very difficult. I finished the call early and gave up. Throughout the whole process, I was never asked about myself or learnt anything about the role. It’s put me off applying in the future. However, I must say the old application process was much better.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in May 2026
Interview
1. Resume Screening
2. Super Day (Excel and Python Quiz + Behavioral + Role Play Interview)
3. Final In-Person Interview
Process was straightforward and fast. They invest in your readiness for the interviews so you’re in good hands. Study basic Excel and leet code problems. Emphasize Why Bloomberg.
one Phone Interview, a 1 on 1 Interview, and a Presentation. Relatively simple they first ask things like location preference, whether you need a visa, things like that, and then they ask you more behavioral questions like why Bloomberg and why this role.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- 1 Phone interview, strictly behavioral questions (why Bloomberg, why this company, explain your resume, etc.)
- Second round interview was also very behavioral but sprinkled in technical questions in there (what does Bloomberg do, favorite Bloomberg function, how to communicate with different professionals.)
- The third round was just a check of relocation preference.
