I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Blow Dry Bar (New York, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
Terrible they communicate from California headquarters they obviously don't have good communication with new York stores because I was called invited to interview when I arrived I was told that Carrington the interviewer was off that day n they had sent their front desk person home for the day so no one could interview me. Then I received an email stating I wasn't fit for the job which I was never interviewed for in the first place so disgusted because despite the bad reviews I still tried them out so you know what day bar up yours
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Blow Dry Bar (Houston, TX) in Jan 2011
Interview
Emails from the owner were a little sporadic and sloppy. She really needs to learn how to spell check before hitting send.
The interview was fairly standard. Performed a basic wash, blowout, and updo on a model that the owner and manager provided. I was then taken into the office for a basic owner/employee interview. Standard questions were asked about my work history, why I left my previous job, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No unexpected questions. We pretty much discussed my work history and she explained what to expect with working with the company.
