1st call - 10 minute call with a recruiter to talk about relocation and salary expectations
2nd call - with the hiring manager to talk about relevant skills and attitude
3rd - 2-3 hour panel interview for a deep dive knowledge. They grill you pretty hard to make sure you're a good fit

They asked detailed engineering questions and how you would go about solving problems.
Remote interview which began with a 1hr presentation that I generated and gave to a panel of 6-7 engineers. Post presentation I had 1 on 1 interviews for 30 minutes with 4 senior engineers.

Technical question on fracture mechanics - asked me to walk them through a da-dN curve and what the different portions of the curve meant and how the curves would look different for different materials

Interview
I had two rounds of interviews before the last panel interview which was 3 hours long. First meeting was with a recruiter and was behavioral, then an interview with same recruiter with some slight behavioral question but mostly behavioral again, last 3 back to back interview for a panel interview.
One technical interview, one technical presentation and 4 interviews with people who watched the presentation. Asked a variety of technical or situational based and soft skills questions. Interviewers were very knowledgeable and asked lots of follow up questions based off my presentation.
