I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Raven Solar (Charlotte, NC) in Jan 2021
Interview
Was called out of the blue after applying a few days prior and asked to come in for an in person meeting. I asked them if they were doing virtual meetings due to COVID and they said no. I told them I'd get back to them after looking at my schedule. I then tried again asking if they would do an intro phone screen before I came in to learn more about the company and vice versa and they said no. If this is how they care about their potential employees' health, it's not the place for me. We are at max caseloads with a new viral variant. It's insane they haven't changed their practices.

Interview
Easy and straightforward. Simple questions and kind interviewer. Excited for this opportunity. Seems to be entirely based on your own performance because there is no hourly rate. Washington apparently is great for solar because homes require more solar due to the overcast weather.

It was very straightforward and fast and I am very satisfied with how efficient and well run it was and how nice the people were. If the rest of the company is similar then I look forward to working here
