I don't know if there are more steps than what I have gone through, but for me it with their CTO and some other person, followed by a technical exercise where you design a basic REST api and a frontend to query it
The first stage was way longer than it needed to be and towards the end started feeling annoying if not insulting.
They would ask you question after question of the type of stuff that any competent uni student would be able to answer. I think the idea is to filter out dummies, but surely once a person has gone through 15 of your 20 or so questions, you're just being annoying and trying to drag out time.
After jumping through all the hoops they decided they weren't going to need the position and aborted the process. A total waste of time and lack of respect for candidates - If you aren't sure if you need the role, answer that question first
