I only got to the first step in the interview process because i had a hunch I knew what this was. The recruiter tried to jump around my questions, but basically this position is doing sales/marketing for companies like Comcast or Verizon. You’ll go to a location and try to get people to buy the services for your “client” aka companies like Comcast or Verizon. They say they want to get you to a training/management position, then you will be training people how to sell packages and upgrades just ask you started out doing. I’m not sure how companies like these succeed. Probably because your pay is based on commission 100%. You don’t con someone into upgrading their plan, you get no money. How can a company call you an account manager when you’re doing solely the job described above?
