I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BoostUp (CA) in Apr 2021
Interview
There were 3 interviews. The first one was with HR with a general introduction of the company. The second one was a technical interview with the QA architect with general questions about QA and QA automation. Finally with the VP of Engineering. Everything smooth and fast.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at BoostUp (CA) (Santa Clara, CA) in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview process was great. All the interviewers and managers were very welcoming and good listeners as well as focused on asking experience relevant to the role I was applying for. They described the company benefits as well as their day-to-day operations and so far everything has been the same or even better than expected.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BoostUp (CA)
Interview
I met with 3 people for 30 minutes each. The team is small, so it was no problem, and I gave a 30 minute presentation as a final interview. At the end of the presentation the hiring manager asked me for references to share and that I meet with a member of the executive team. I agreed to the meeting and I found a time to connect within the next week. I found out a few days later that the hiring manager extended an offer to another candidate without telling the recruiter, never called my references, and didn't wait until I met with the member of the executive team. I find this incredibly rude, disrespectful, and given what I know now I would never have accepted an offer from BoostUp. If this is the way the treat people in the interview process, I can only imagine how they treat their actual employees.
