I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Scientific (Genoa) in Apr 2016
Interview
After applying through their careers portal I got a mail proposing me a job interview.
I went to their office in Genova where I was interviewed by the HR manager and the legal counsel.
They told me this was the only step in the recruiting process.
They were both very kind to me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to talk about myself in English to test my language skills and then they wanted to know what I knew about Boston Scientific.
They also asked me questions about my experience in a law firm and why I wanted to work as in-house lawyer.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Scientific in Jul 2024
Interview
screener call with recruiter, then 30 min teams interview with hiring manager, followed by a set of 3 interviews with 3 other department members. I was ghosted in the end as the recruiter never responded to my two follow-up attempts.

Interview
I applied through the BSCI site and got a call from the Recruiter within a week to set up an initial phone screen. I completed a few phone screen questions prior to the call, so the phone screen itself was more casual and I was able to ask a lot of my questions. Then I was scheduled with the Hiring Manager for a ~30 minute video interview. That was also fairly casual and mainly a review of general skills related to the role and a gauge of whether I was excited about the role. I didn't move forward in the process, but if I had it would have been another interview with some of the team members and then a final round interview with a Director. I followed up with the Recruiter after a week and a half to ask for an update and they called me to let me know what skills I was ranked well on in their system based on my interview with the Hiring Manager. I really appreciated getting a chance to hear from the Recruiter and team on their decision even though it wasn't what I'd hoped for.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Please explain your career journey and experience most relevant to this role.
- Why BSCI? Why this role?
- Have you worked remotely before? How have you managed this?
The interview process is long and takes a ton of time to hear on the selections process. Makes it difficult when looking for other opportunities and considering other offers. Hard to make a decision when you don’t have all the offers on the table
