The recruiter for this role was one of the most unprofessional and disorganized recruiters I've ever dealt with. After she rescheduled the phone screen 3 times I finally talked to her and I could tell she didn't pay attention to anything I said. I would say, "I have experience using X" and then 10 seconds later she'd ask, "So, do you have experience using X?"
The worst part of this experience was that the job was advertised on job boards as remote and I SPECIFICALLY asked the recruiter if it was remote and she said it was. Lo and behold during the interview with the hiring manager it was revealed that they would prefer for this person to go into the office occasionally. The hiring manager asked, "How about once a week? No? What about once a month?"
News alert, Boston Scientific: if you expect someone to go into the office once in a while, then you don't have a remote job. That's called HYBRID. Don't advertise a remote job just to attract job applicants. This wastes everyone's time and is careless at best and deceptive at worst.
