I responded to an ad and was contacted by Human Resources Dept. After a brief screening with Human Resources I had a couple of rounds of interviews with the department chief as well as members of faculty and some staff members

Found and applied for the job on BU's website. Got a call within about a week from a department staff member and had a 1:1 with her and the same day a 1:1 with another staff member. A week later, I was brought back for a panel with two staff members and the future boss. About a week after that, HR called me in and "interviewed" me again, but after 15 minutes of banter gave me an offer.
