I applied online. I interviewed at Box (Warsaw, Masovia) in Jul 2026
Interview
Process was of 6 rounds. 3 technical 3 behavioral. 1 Coding interview, 2 system design interviews. I had 2 rounds in back to back days. Coding followed by system design. In system design round was asked to build Pizza delivery system to which I explained with actors, services, DB handling and other logistical challenges. Also explained scalable solutions on asking for same. Later got the feedback that they aren't moving forward as they felt I explained scalable solution which wasn't required when in real they asked for scalable solution on 3-4 occasions e.g How would you scale system for city of Warsaw, how would you handle large orders, would have single db for all of the order data to name few. I found the feedback weird cause I just built the solution they asked for and hence the points to specify "gap" here felt like an intentional rejection rather than rejection on technical gaps.

Question 1
DSA related coding problem. System design to handle Pizza delivery .
The process started with a quick phone screen with a recruiter to go over background and salary expectations. That was followed by a video call with the hiring manager covering past sales experience and a short roleplay of a cold call. The final round was a panel call with two other team members focused on culture fit and coachability. The whole process took about three weeks from first contact to offer
