I applied online. I interviewed at Brain in Hand (London, England) in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview was online with 2 managers. It took about an hour. Not that difficult, more or less checking my qualifications and experience, plus support of company culture and values.

Interview
The first interview went well - I answered all the questions in full and to a level I was happy with. I was then contacted a couple of weeks later and told I had been invited to a second interview which would involve me preparing a presentation then Q&A afterwards.
This was a very large task (if you wanted to do it properly) and I would say I spent around 10 hours prepping for this in full. In my mind, there was no point in doing it by half measures, so I put a lot of effort in. Again, the interview went well and I was left feeling mildly confident, something that I wouldn't normally allow myself to feel however this was fuelled by their positive response to my presentation saying things such as they were really impressed, could tell the amount of time I had put in and that I had thought of things they had not etc etc.
I was told that they would be in touch by the end of the week (this was Thursday). By the end of Friday, I had heard nothing. The next week passed - still nothing. The following week I rang the number I had been contacted on hoping to get through to HR - nobody picked up. I then rang the general company number and left a message - I received no response. I then decided to email with all interviewers CC'd in - no response.
At this point, it was around 4 weeks since the interview and I was feeling rather frustrated and confused as to why nobody had even bothered to simply send me a generic email letting me down. In one last attempt to get some sort of answer, I sent a final email expressing my concern at the lack of communication I had received after spending a lot of time preparing for these interviews. Surprise, surprise - nothing.
I cannot believe this company calls themselves person-centred yet does not have the decency to get in touch with an interviewee to let them know that they have not been successful, especially when they have the audacity to ask that person to spend a considerable amount of time preparing a lengthy and in-depth presentation. I find it simply disgraceful.

Question 1
How would you approach a marketing campaign aimed at Directors of Adult Health and Social Care? (Lead Gen)
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Brain in Hand (London, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
Application form, telephone interview and face to face interview. Overall very unprofessional process. Two interviewers, one was over enthusiastic basically offered me the job over the phone, only to have a very difficult and critical second interviewer present face to face. Asked me lots of questions unrelated to the skill set required for the job. Not very welcoming and company refused to give feedback after. I felt I had the skills and experience for the job but the second interviewer took a dislike to me as soon as I walked in the room. Felt prejudiced from the start.
