The interview process at Brandwatch was something that I enjoyed. It consisted of various stages. The first was an introductory call from Brandwatch, Brighton. After the general introduction, I was given an appointment to meet the team in Stuttgart for a Face2Face interview process. This was the second stage of the interview process, wherein I met the Dev Lead and we discussed about the job position and my skillset in general. The third stage was a technical task that needed to be solved within a week's time. The task though general, needed some expertise and getting used to the workflow. However, with some practice, I was able to complete the task within the given time frame. I was called in to the Stuttgart office again, to discuss the solution I gave them, which I would say was a part of the third stage. I also got to speak to the VP of Engineering and we had a discussion regarding my skills and on how I could be of help in their scheme of things. For the last stage of the interview process, I was given a live task, where I had to plan on testing a new requirement. I must say that the team at Brandwatch was very quick and prompt in getting back to me after each of these stages. These quick responses allowed me to focus more and I am happy to say that I am a part of the Stuttgart Brandwatch team now. This is by far the fastest interview process that I’ve been a part of, which involved more than a couple of stages.
