I applied on Indeed and heard back from the company about 2-3 weeks later to set up a phone screening with the manager. I had not followed up on my own. The phone screening quickly lead to a team meeting with the CEO of National Bulk Equipment (parent company). This went well and was quite casual, but the laidback-ness could have been due to COVID.
From there, I moved to another Teams interview with a current Application Engineer in the company. After that I was sent an offer. From phone screening to offer it was about 2 weeks. I tried to negotiate with them on the offer, but they did not budge. And actually rescinded the offer after I tried a 2nd time to negotiate. Part of this could be due to a miscommunication on my end or poor negotiating skills, but regardless, I have never heard of an offer being rescinded before.
