I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Braze (New York, NY) in Sept 2019
Interview
The interview process was relatively quick. There were 4 interviews: 1 phone screen with a recruiter, 1 phone interview with the VP of Customer Success, 1 on site panel interview (very casual and super friendly), 1 on site case study interview where you present to a panel of 3 team members on a brand/app and digital marketing strategy.
- very quick interview process
- great communication from talent/HR throughout the interview process
- very easygoing interviewers when onsite - made me feel very comfortable in a typically stressful process
- employees seem like great people to work with and very collaborative
- office is very nice with open floor plan and seems like a great place to work
- felt very welcome in the office when came in for 2 on-site interviews
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Walk me through your resume?
2. Tell me about your prior experiences?
3. What would be your perfect role?
4. Why customer success?
5. Out of these 3 skills- empathy, technical, marketing - which 2 do you feel you embody and which one can you learn more about?
6. What was a time when you worked collaboratively to solve a problem?
7. What has your experience been with cross functional teams?
Very positive. Lots of information provided to help with the interview process and incentives to show gratitude for the time it takes to interview. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly, it seems like a great place to work
Screening call with the recruiter, easy take home assessment, 3x rounds with Customer Success Directors. Everyone I spoke with was nice, but I got rejected with an automated email providing no feedback. Considering they are not a big company, they should consider providing feedback to applicants to avoid ruining the application experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Braze (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2025
Interview
This was a standard tech interview with a recruiter, then managerial interview with a hiring manager. Followed by a decision. The process was relatively simple and straightforward. The interviewers were prompt and polite
