The interview came a few weeks after the close of the job posting. It was a panel interview with the direct supervisors of the position, along with others whom the person in the role might interact. The interview lasted about an hour with the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the position.

I was very smooth, I spoke to the lady who was in charge of interns. She was very sweet and encouraging. We spoke about ways to find housing in DC after I got offered the position.

Met with management. Interview went well. Nice office, location right on capitol. Advocacy organization raising money to lobby government. Didn't hear from them for quite awhile after the interview though.
