I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Brevet Capital
Interview
Two rounds. One behavioural (which was pretty standard with regards to investment banking interviews), and the second was a two hour thing with two associates from the company. The internship is a rotational one, so they'll have you speak with different folks from different parts of the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Walked through a basic interview question about what credit investors should focus on when determining debt capacity, as well as a DCF and finally a scenario where you had to brainstorm effective ways of determining if a potential borrower was trustworthy
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Brevet Capital (New York, NY) in May 2019
Interview
Interviewed with several people, at all levels, from Managing Directors to analysts. Brevet wants to be certain that everyone is on board whenever there is a new hire. The process is long, but rewarding.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Brevet Capital
Interview
Overall straightforward process. Website not really helpful. They didn’t ask a lot of technicals, mostly behavioral. Seems like an overkill to make interns fly over for the internship (no reimbursement). Interviews were disorganized.
